I wholeheartedly blame my sister for this incident.

Back in January, my mother had scheduled a family dinner and both me and my brother were invited. It wasn't until Sunday and there was a massive blizzard on the way (I live in Ohio, I'm used to it). So we were both picked up early to spend the weekend with her until Sunday.

A day goes by and during the afternoon I decide to take a nap on the couch because I slept like absolute shit during the previous night. I wake up to my sister making homemade pizza and watching a show. I think to myself, "This show's probably boring." And I attempt to fall back asleep (and fail) so instead, I'm laying there and the next episode comes on. And this is where it all starts.

I'm still laying there, and then there's a guy that's shown on screen. I immediately think to myself, "Damn, he's honestly really hot." and the thought of the show like a minute ago that I had changed completely.

Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to what is known as "New Girl".

Left to right: Winston Bishop (Lamorne Morris), Nick Miller (Jake Johnson  UwU ), Jessica Day (Zooey Deschanel), Schmidt (Max Greenfield), Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.), Cece (Hannah Simone)

If I'm being completely honest. It's been a while since I actually sat down and watched a show like this one. And boy am I glad I binged the entire fucking thing in less than two weeks (I'm still not over the ending of 6x22). It's so good for what it is.

okay and for fuck's sake jake johnson is seriously the most attractivem otherfucker on this planet as of present day I actually swear to fucking god, like can you even deny this smile ?

But yeah, anyway. I recommend this show to anyone, really. If you like sitcoms you'll definitely love this. There are seven seasons to watch, and Netflix just recently added the seventh season. Let me know what you think of it. :)

Also, I'm pretty sure this is obvious. But Jake is one of my actors. He's such an old man now. lmfao.
Rest easy, Angelo.

Not gonna lie, I never watch these "funny" tv show sitcom thingies, and maybe it's just me being an old ass bloke, all these shows just blend into one big soup of bad jokes and forced haha tracks slapped onto them (bigbang theory, 2broke grills, 2 and 1/2 men, shit like that)

I always find them so chringy with that poor production and execution. I'm talking about shit where the people are in a car and you can clearly see they just put em in front of a green screen and have stock "driving background" added in post. Even if the jokes are okay-ish, stuff like that takes away from the overall experience.

Cool story though, and great that you enjoy it, ngl if a show like that featured Emma Watson I'd be all over that shit too hahahah

Oh, yeah. Neither do I. I've never liked shows like Big Bang Theory and so on. But when I was younger my dad would watch Two and Half Man. So I've seen some of that, haha.

Also, New Girl isn't one of those shows where they force in a laugh track at "funny" moments (surprisingly and I'm kind of glad tbh). And it's a lot more cinematic (or active... ?) than a lot of other sitcoms that exist on TV (take this clip as an example). I just think it's incredibly unique for what kind of show it is and it's honestly so well put together for what started back in 2011. Although I will admit that I feel like they kind of rushed season seven as there are only eight episodes as opposed to being in the twenties (Season 1-6).

But yeah, that's it. I just really love Nick tbh.

it's been three months and I'm still not over this shit. smh.
Rest easy, Angelo.
