Feng’s Attack on Titan Tribute Game is definitely a very unique game by itself to keep the attention of a community that has developed a true sense of nostalgia, passion, and fondness from majority of the current players today. Some of these players however went even further than most and were inspired to follow in Feng’s footsteps to try and create their own tribute game or make the current tribute game even better than before. It’s a story we’ve heard a lot over the years starting as early as 2016 with Project Voltage and Teetan’s unofficial update mod. However, history has told us that passion itself can only go so far. With that being said, I will be archiving a little history thread to remember the failed, but respectable, effort so the community to restore or enhance the feeling and experience that AoTTG has brought.

Holy fuck, 2016 ? It feels like ages since I uploaded that video.

But yeah, Project Voltage was pretty fun tbh. It's sad that they both abandoned the project. I still have the game if anyone wants to play it.

It really is. I remember joining the Facebook group as soon as I heard about it and managed to save all their Alpha version, even when the arms and such broke off. It was surprisingly well developed for how early it was. minus how broken the bomb gun was since you could just spin around in a circle and get over 300 kills pretty easily. I think that it was probably the most visually interesting product that came out. Unfortunately, I never tried their multiplayer servers and I am unsure if Hamachi or Photon would work for it. I may have to boot it up later to see as I completely forgot what the network interface even offered.

Woah abii I love this hahah I'm a bit of a datawhore myself and archive lots of shit so seeing this dataporn is so great accompanied with the commentary~ Almost like a lil documentary Aww That's exactly the type of content I still keep this site up for mate

Also can't wait for roark's version review, I'm really fond of that one but a shame it has like no development at all nowadays...  Glare

It’s a shame I never played or joined that server so my commentary on it will require some digging beforehand. I was going to for RE before I stopped since that one recently ended production, but I had issues with Guedin’s post because apparently apostrophies break the spoiler which took me a good moment to figure out that was the issue.

Apparently so. First, it was “Guedin’s Attack on Titan Fan Game.” This causes it to labled as a spoiler, but it would not actually collapse it like it should. Instead it would just show the spoiler code without actually having that code affect the text it’s bonded to. Then it was “Guedin’s AoTFG.” This caused it to collapse, but you were unable to actually view the contents being spoiled. So you would click the spoiler, but it wouldn’t do anything. Once I removed the apostrophe, it worked as intended.

Here's the download link to the game. Multiplayer surprisingly still works. They probably based it off the Photon servers that AoTTG uses.

Guedin made a good game but roark's game looks much more promising after his released trailer for official multiplayer earlier last week!
Here's the link for anyone interested, and be sure to follow his discord server for more details on the development! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5vw9GxR3eE

I remember being excited when roark first posted his game idea but the more updates he pushed out the less I liked where he's taking it. (My ears also don't like the hook sound constantly squealing)
